How To Get There
Most people fly into Tangier or Fez airport and then take a bus or shared taxi to Chefchaouen. The journey from Tangier takes around three hours while from Fez it is about four to five hours through scenic mountain roads. There are also direct buses from other Moroccan cities like Casablanca but they take longer. Once you arrive the medina is small and best explored on foot. Taxis are cheap inside the town but many areas are car free so you will do plenty of walking.
