How To Get There
Most visitors fly into Inverness or Glasgow and then drive across the bridge to the island which takes around three to four hours from Inverness. You can also take the train to Kyle of Lochalsh and then cross the bridge by bus or taxi. Renting a car is highly recommended because public transport on the island is quite limited and many of the best spots are spread out. The roads are narrow and winding so drive carefully especially when its misty or rainy.
